Quite possibly the cutest elephant you have ever seen. No big surprise that he is an elephant. And don't you love the buzz.

This one is showing just how much bigger Adam is than Stella. They are 10 months apart. This was taken May 2, 2007.

This one is on his first Birthday. Of course he loved cake.










I'm going to take a few shots (if I can - without him knowing) of him standing. So that you can see how tall he is. Still not walking. By himself. He will walk (with help) from almost everyone. But only does about 7-10 steps with Mom and Dad. It is a funny thing really. There is a lot of weight to lift when you are 25lbs and 7oz. and only 13 months old.

Update on Grandma Bessie:
Well on Wednesday July 25th Grandma Bessie had lunch in Heaven. She passed quietly in her sleep just after noon. My mom and Judy were there with her. Which was a real blessing for them. Grandma Bessie's funeral will be held at the Okotoks Evangelical Free Church at 3pm on Wednesday August 1st. Thank you all for your prayers. She has finally gone home. There was a celebration in heaven.

I don't know why yesterday's post isn't showing but there is an update. No pictures, I know I suck. I'm working on it. For some reason you have to click on the 2007 to get yesterday's post. Chat again soon.

Grandma Bessie.
I thought I would update everyone this way. My grandma Bessie is not doing well at all. On the weekend we were told that she does have bone cancer. Something that we had been thinking she might have for a while, seeing as moving was causing her great pain. I sat with her on Saturday July 14th, and then we I saw her yesterday it was shocking. She has become a frail OLD woman. Please pray that the Lord takes her home and she is giving a brand new body. Pray that my Mom and Auntie Judy are comforted, they will take this the hardest. Of course this will be hard on everyone, just that girls are always completely attached to their mother. This is a bittersweet situation. Aren't we glad that we know where she is going. I'll try to keep you updated.

I'm at work, can't you tell? It has been fun(?) coming back. Only because the daycare that we have Adam at has web cam, and I can watch him all day. I have two computer screens. One is dedicated to watching Adam. Which is really fun. I love how my boy sleeps - arms straight out. It cracks me up.

Super Great News!!

Brand new baby girl in our family. Nope, not me. Gee, I would have had to hide that pretty good, wouldn't I have. The little darling belongs to my sister and brother-in-law. Stella Jane Gavan was born on Monday April 30th at 3:29am. Gregg really wants people to be aware that she was born at 3:29 not 3:30. Which I think is super cute. She weighed in at 8lbs 1oz. and measuring 20.5" long. Tons of dark black hair. Excellent baby so far. Of course they just got home. Breanna is being a wonderful big sister. Adam almost lost his mind with laughter when he got to "hold" Stella on his lap. They are almost exactly 10 months apart. She missed his 10 month "birthday" by just a couple hours. April 29th Adam turned 10 months. So exciting all these new babies coming into our lives.

Adam had a arrowroot cookie today. My mom told me to take a picture, so I thought I would share it. How cute eh? I think he is super cute. I'm trying to take more pictures. Because pretty soon I'm going back to work and I won't be able to take them as easy. And the grandparents are complaining in the lack of photos. So I better get crackn'. By the way Breanna has about 5 million pictures of her first year, I have a lot of catching up to do.

I thought I would post a new picture of the little man. This is taken at Ronda's house. Adam is growing like a weed. Last time he was measured he was 30" long and weighting 23lbs. So to say the least he isn't missing many meals. He has started crawling around more like a shimmy but it gets him places. Like this morning he got himself all the way into the bathroom, and then very smartly shut the door with himself right behind the door which made it challenging for me to get in. He of course thought this was very funny. And to think the fun is just beginning.
